Refund policy
How cancellations and refunds work for the Birch hosted plan ($99/mo via Polar).
Effective date: September 14, 2026
1. Billing model
Birch is sold as a month-to-month subscription. Polar is the merchant of record. You can manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation in the billing portal inside the app.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, unless Polar or the portal states otherwise at cancel time.
3. Refunds
Fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period starts, including partial months and unused credits. If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, clear billing malfunction), contact support@birch.so within 14 days of the charge. We will review in good faith with Polar's records.
4. Credits
Included monthly credits meter eligible usage. Unused credits typically do not convert to cash and do not roll over unless we state otherwise in writing. Empty credits pause credit-using agents; they do not create overage invoices.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact support before filing a chargeback so we can help. Abuse of chargebacks may lead to account suspension.
